We are thrilled to announce that nominations for the prestigious ABSIP Financial Services Awards 2024 are now open! This is your chance to spotlight the exceptional individuals and organisations that have demonstrated excellence and innovation in our ever-evolving financial services industry.

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the ABSIP Financial Sector Awards, we have partnered with Krutham to conduct in-depth research aimed at identifying areas for improvement. This research involved interviews with stakeholders, members, adjudicators, and sponsors. Following the interviews, a survey was conducted to gather further insights, and we would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who participated.

Based on this valuable feedback, we are pleased to announce the introduction of the Legacy Awards in categories such as Private Markets, Retirement Funds, Stockbroking, Banking, Insurance, and Asset Management. These awards will recognize firms that have contributed to South Africa's financial services landscape as we celebrate 30 years of democracy. Additionally, we have refined the overall awards list for greater focus and relevance. Detailed below is the nomination opening and closing period.

  • Nominations Open: 08 October 2024
  • Nominations Close: 29 October 2024

The ABSIP Financial Services Awards 2024 are not just a celebration of achievement but also a recognition of those who are leading the way in transformation, leadership, and innovation within the sector. We invite you and your colleagues to submit nominations that highlight these trailblazers.

  • Award Ceremony Date: 28 November 2024

This year’s event, themed "Pioneering Paths – Celebrating 30 Years of Leadership and Transformation in Financial Services," is especially meaningful as we commemorate three decades of democracy.
